Porfidio belongs to the Ultra Premium Tequilas, produced by Destileria Porfidio, Puerto Vallarta.
For Porfidio they use only the first pressing of the agave. Each bottle is mouth-blown, with its unmistakable cactus in the bottle, each individual numbered.
There are a lot of rumours around the Austrian owner of the brand, Martin Grassl.
One is undisputable, after a lot of quarrels with the CRT and Mexican justice:
official Porfidio could not named itself Tequila, but the production and ingredients are conform to those of 100% Agave Tequila.
